Set up OpenAI
OpenAI's GPT models shape your transcript into your template. Because OpenAI will provide a BAA to individuals by email, it is our safer default recommendation for note-shaping while other vendors' small-customer terms are confirmed.

Privacy paperwork
BAA — by email to individuals
OpenAI will enter into a Business Associate Agreement with individual API customers on request, typically by email to their support/sales channel. Put one in place before sending patient-derived text if your assessment requires it. OpenAI also states that data submitted through the API is not used to train its models by default — confirm the current terms and data-retention settings directly with OpenAI.
